Two new rooms are now available for you!

Searching for a relaxing location or natural surroundings in which to host your next meeting or convention? Outaouais Tourism invites you to discover the two new rooms tailor-made for groups in our region, located at Fairmont Le Château Montebello and Le Nordik-Nature Spa.

Fairmont Le Château Montebello

This new building boasts 390 m2 of conference space, 149 m2 of pre-function space and can accommodate up to 320 guests. Connected to the Papineau wing, which offers 5 breakout rooms, this space can be divided into two large sections. Each of these sections is equipped with an integrated screen, DID lines and high-speed Internet. A beautiful terrace with a show stopping view of the Outaouais River is also made available to you.

Le Nordik- Nature Spa

This new meeting room is modern with a rustic charm! The “BORÉAL” room, surrounded by windows, provides a beautiful view of the charming and natural setting. It comes equipped with state of the art technology as well as a bar located in the foyer, which offers a warm and inviting atmosphere; the Nordik’s trademark. What more could leaders ask for in order to inspire creativity and productivity? The corporate group menu, prepared with fresh and delectable ingredients, incorporates local products in a wide array that will please even the most discerning connoisseurs.

A healthy innovation for the Le Bifthèque restaurant

The Ramada Plaza-Manoir du Casino on-site restaurant, Le Bifthèque, is now introducing new healthy options. In fact, the new culinary team has prepared healthy new breakfast offerings for its buffet. You’ll also find a wide selection of à la carte items that will satisfy all preferences. These include whole-wheat waffles topped with fresh fruit, poached eggs with cottage cheese and fresh fruit, etc. The Chef’s special will continue to delight executives at lunchtime and the evening menu now offers a succulent grilled fillet mignon salad. Reward your taste buds without emptying your wallet!

VIA Rail Canada is modernizing its facilities and infrastructures!

VIA Rail Canada is modernizing its facilities and infrastructures in an effort to provide maximum comfort and quality and to ensure more frequent departures along with faster, more productive travel time. Customers are already benefiting from the renovations recently undertaken at the Ottawa train station: Ticket counter modernization, expansion of the Panorama lounge and, as part of VIA’s commitment to sustainability and the environment, the installation of motion sensing water taps and accessories. Optimization of Wi‑Fi services onboard trains is also planned to enrich the customers’ traveling experience. For more details.....

Since the last edition of ZOOM – AFFAIRES, a guided tour was organized throughout the Outaouais region on June 9th and 10th. This tour allowed seven event planners to explore the countryside, from the Collines-de-l’Outaouais to the Gatineau Valley, and discover all it has to offer.

Let me begin by thanking you for an amazing couple of days. I thought it was just a bit of time out of the office, and who wouldn’t like that, but you made the last few days super fun!

I had a wonderful time and never realized how beautiful the Outaouais region really is. 

I was so impressed with everyone’s  hospitality and the cleanliness of the accommodations.

Thank you as well for all the goodies we received! I certainly didn’t expect presents too...it was just like Christmas! This summer, I have every intention of making reservations for myself and my husband and will stay either at the Chateau Logue or the Auberge du Draveur. I also plan on checking their availabilities for our next Electricity Sector Council board meeting.
