September is going back to school month! However, in the Outaouais Region, we suggest original weekend activities that make it feel like your summer vacation isn’t quite over yet! Here is a list of outings that will allow you to escape for a few hours more. … Let’s stretch the summer and enjoy the last days of the season!

  Mouth-watering Getaways!

Harvest time is upon us and we want to help you discover the many aspects of agritourism in our region. Last July, Outaouais Tourism, in collaboration with several partners, developed an agri-food information kit in which you will find maps of the region’s various agri-food tours. What a nice way to discover local producers that have a lot to offer! You can also visit the “Agritourism” section of our Web site to plan a highly flavourful itinerary and make the most of your stay in the Outaouais Region.

A Hole in One in the Outaouais Region!

With warm weather is still around and with less traffic on the golf greens, September is a good month for golf! Imagine, there are 150 golf courses within a 100 km radius in the Ottawa-Gatineau Region! So, whether you are looking for the most spectacular landscape or a course for your long drives, we have the golf course for you, in the Outaouais!

Did You know…

That the 22nd edition of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from September 4 to 7. In addition to watching magnificent hot air balloons and numerous shows, meet with magicians and attend a strength athletes’ competition! An event not to be missed!
